Comings and Goings…
Wow…has it really been 6 weeks since I’ve been on here? Time flies when you’re having fun, right!
We’ve been busy bees with shows, family and life in general. Seems like only a short time ago we were finalizing our show schedule and here we are in the thick of it!
We’re very excited to now have a great new event right here in my hometown! Indianapolis has been without a venue featuring vintage goodies, but now there is a new monthly street market that you won’t want to miss…
“Join a select group of invited purveyors of vintage, antique, junque, artisans, craftspersons, local gourmands, stylemakers and stylebreakers for a monthly celebration of all things unique, indie & stylish.”
Couldn’t describe it better myself!
Be sure to visit us this Saturday for a fun day of shopping, music and great food. The line-up of vendors is impressive and you will love the “street market” vibe…very hip, very urban, very cool!
You will find us under the first large tent to the left of the entrance. Read more about it here:

The Vintage Marketplace at the Springfield Extravaganza
You may remember we participated in the Vintage Marketplace’s debut show in Nashville back in February. Due to it’s huge success they are also presenting this event at the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market May Extravaganza in Springfield, Ohio. We are very excited to be participating in this event and wanted to share it with all of you!
The Springfield Extravaganza has been running for many years and features nearly 2000 dealers and 20,000 customers each May and September. The Vintage Marketplace will feature a select group of vendors who will be set up in the center of the show area (between the buildings) under large tents with fabric walls. This “show within a show” highlights unique and creative ways to incorporate vintage home decor, antiques and junk finds into your home.
Sue Whitney of the popular JUNKMARKET Style and author of the Junk Beautiful Series will also be on hand for a weekend packed full of inspiration, creativity and fun! Events include a barn dance, treasure hunt, painting demos, Vintage Bingo, workshops and much more.
Be sure to check out these blog sites for all of the details and more information. It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!
Here are a few things we’re working on for the show…

Have you seen this magazine yet?
If you haven’t heard of this…you don’t know what you are missing!
How would I describe this magazine??? Well, the folks over at Folk really state it best…
” Devoted to presenting a fresh and youthful interpretation of simple country lifestyles, we focus on the stories that make America our collective home sweet home. FOLK reaches across the many representations of American Country style to unite our country, celebrating personal expression in our homes and lives.
We are all about the country, sweet tea, indie music, antiques, roadtrips, small towns, comfort, home, artists, locally grown and locally made, one-of-a-kind art, open spaces, photography, patriotism, simple living, and the little things…”
